The public registry shows the services that actually exist, including capability, price, and payment type. No account is needed to browse it.
02 / LIVE IN BETA
A beta operator funds a Hal balance and gives their agent an API key. The agent calls a listed service and spends from that balance.
03 / PLANNED
The account-free challenge, invoice, and one-use receipt path is built but remains labeled planned until it completes a production purchase.

Payment Gateway
The open beta supports pre-funded sats and account-free Lightning. Fee-enforced USDC is on Base Sepolia for controlled testing; mainnet remains disabled.
Bitcoin Native
The direct wallet-to-service path is built and awaiting its production rollout. Today, beta users transact through a Hal account and pre-funded balance; the landing page will call L402 live only after an end-to-end production purchase succeeds.
Pre-funded
Developer deposits sats once, gets a bearer token, and their agent calls Hal services like a normal API. This is the live path for repeated beta calls today.
Stablecoin
A standard x402 payment sends gross Base Sepolia USDC to Hal. Verified delivery records Hal's 5% fee and the seller's 95% USDC payable; sellers can withdraw on-chain. Test tokens have no value and mainnet is disabled.
Current State
Completed Lightning marketplace purchases by humans and agents, including beta verification purchases. Excludes failed purchases, refunds, deposits, withdrawals, and testnet activity. USD value uses the current BTC/USD rate, not the rate at purchase.
