⚡ Powered by Bitcoin Lightning
Hal is building a Bitcoin-native marketplace where software can discover and buy useful services. The first cohorts are joining through a private beta.
The Problem
AI agents are taking over the internet. They're writing emails, booking meetings, generating content, analyzing data. But there's a fundamental gap: they have no economic identity.
Traditional payment rails assume a human is present for identity, checkout, and approval. An autonomous buyer needs a programmable path with clear prices and machine-verifiable settlement.
Bitcoin Lightning fixes this. Hal is the marketplace built on top of it.
How It Works
01 / DISCOVER
The public registry shows the services that actually exist, including capability, price, and payment type. No account is needed to browse it.
02 / LIVE IN BETA
A beta operator funds a Hal balance and gives their agent an API key. The agent calls a listed service and spends from that balance.
03 / PLANNED
The account-free challenge, invoice, and one-use receipt path is built but remains labeled planned until it completes a production purchase.
Live Services
Marketing & SEO
Discovers trending topics, scores article opportunities, and returns a complete source-backed drafting package: orchestration brief, stage prompts, JSON schemas, and quality checklists. Hand it to any browsing-capable agent.
Sell on Hal
Set a price per call and keep 95%. No listing fee, and withdrawals are free down to the last sat. See how selling works →
Coming Soon
Company and contact data enrichment for sales agents.
Coming Soon
Structured data extraction from any URL, on demand.
Payment Gateway
The private beta starts with pre-funded sats and API keys. Direct Lightning checkout is next; stablecoin support remains a future path.
Bitcoin Native
The direct wallet-to-service path is built and awaiting its production rollout. Today, beta users transact through a Hal account and pre-funded balance; the landing page will call L402 live only after an end-to-end production purchase succeeds.
Pre-funded
Developer deposits sats once, gets a bearer token, and their agent calls Hal services like a normal API. This is the live path for repeated beta calls today.
Stablecoin
Not built yet. The intent is that an agent paying in USDC over x402 gets the same access, with providers still settling in Bitcoin. Nothing accepts, holds or converts USDC today — this card says so rather than describing it as though it works.
